  3. Moar fun with Danzig. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHv3qO_Y8kk This is kind of awesome.
  4. I read this fascinating blog post on Glenn Danzig last night. I suggest taking the time to go and read it, it's not that long and makes for great reading. Glenn has made a great career borrowing pulp images and making icons out of them. The Misfits skull originates from The Crimson Ghost. The cover of the Die Die My Darling single originates from this comic book: The Misfits logo steals its font from Famous Monsters of Filmland: Similarly, the Samhain/Danzig font is from a poster for The Giant Gila Monster: The Samhain/Danzig skull Comes from a 1980s Crystar comic book(!) This is a fact that Glenn clearly isn't hiding: Of course, Glenn's work is always a mixed bag. Witness just how BAD this video is: The song rocks, however. Video is NSFW for TSA* *Tattooed Stripper Ass. EDIT: Fixed some broken images.

  8. starts out kind kind of slow, but by the 1 minute mark, it's hiLAIRious. I think I got the deep linking code right. The above should be credited to the late, great George Carlin.
  9. The above is entirely the fault of Canada.
  10. Eight 32oz bottles of Dr. Wood's (no relation) Pure Peppermint Castile Soap, for $50 shipped. I'm tired of paying for Dr. Bronner's.
  11. Today is the first day of spring. It snowed in W.Mass.
  12. I have been a T-Mobile customer since late 2007 (when I told Verizon to piss off), I am mortified by this news. A friend of mine tweeted about it last night (marking a rare instance when Twitter has provided useful and timely information.) I'm pretty sure this will mean higher rates and worse service in my future. T-Mobile's network is mighty patchy out here in W.Mass, but my UMA-enabled Blackberry latches on to Wifi hotspots quite well. This makes it usable in all sorts of spots where it wouldn't be otherwise. T-Mobile has really good customer service and tech support. I don't think I can deal with the Death Star, I remember dealing with them in the 90s.
  13. Sup, head case. It's too early to be awake. Those are oreos.
