some of my headphones is still sigle ended.

thinking it would be useful to have TRS out instead having two different build,just saving some flexibility

so this combo output wiring won't work on susy design?

I thought it will work on any amp if I tap R+ L+ G、R- L- G  to two TRS contacts to drive two headphones (feeding balanced signal for sure)

I'm considering the have the dynahi balanced with 2 unbalanced input and one balanced input with an balanced and unbalanced input switch.

 

The output would be one balanced and one unbalanced. for unbalanced I will wire the left to + board 1, ground to  - board 1, right wire to + board 2.

 

Will that work? or any better suggestion to have both balanced input and output configuration?

 

for outputs, you can consider using XLR combo jack ,then you can have one balanced out and two single ended outputs

could it plossible just simply using 4 boards instead cfa3 design to complete balanced build? seems possible

thinking 4 board would be more flexible for me

Try changing 75K resistor to 62K range,combined with 20K pot I can reach 125mV without problem

 

 

Oh well, I replaced the 20K trimpot with a 50K and the result is - nothing! Exactly the same values as before, meaning 1.45-1.5V across the 10R resistor and 2.15-2.2V offset on the output. Will have to keep looking I guess...

in balanced mode the gain is Rf/Ri *2

you don't want to change the 5k input resistors, so

change the feedback resistors. Unlikely the compensation

cap needs to be changed

just to make sure,Rf  in SS dynalo are R16,R19  right ?
