    Been enjoying the Sony MDR-Z7 the past couple months. I have tried several tube and solid state amps.. best so far is my Cary Nighthawk. I also built a shorter length cable using low capacitance wire and the treble section was improved. My only gripe is there aren't (that I know of) aftermarket pads to audition. Anyone here using other than stock pads ??

    TMoney, Thin Lizzy is ALSO one of my top 10 bands of all time. I really appreciate the quality/mastering of their studio LP's.... of which I have "nearly" all. Excellent sounding prog/rock on vinyl. Jeff Lynne fans should enjoy this
