Anyone migrate Server 2003 domain to Server 2012 successfully?

I need migrate a domain on a Windows Server 2003 domain controller to Windows Server 2012.  Has anyone done this successfully? 

My company had done some 2008 to 2012 migrations before i started there so i had heard, but I have also heard 2003 was a different enough animal that I'm not sure it would be any help.
