Any US sources for Sanyo OSCons?

Featured Replies

Anyone knows a source for Sanyo Oscon capacitors (SMD type) in the US who sells to individuals?

So far I found Newark/Farnell (very expensive because of 15$ for shipping from UK) and BD Enterprise (who do not have in stock, what I need). Any other US retailers?

You might check BDent - http://www.bdent.com. I know they have some Sanyo OsCons; not sure if they have the SMD type, though.

One thing if you look, though - their search feature is very unforgiving. You should enter as little of the part number as possible to get a good scatter of results. Otherwise, if you have one syntax error in the way they store the part number, you'll get a blank.

thanks, TomB.

I found them toom, but they do not have the caps that i need in stock. however according to their site they will restock the caps, if i take 25 pieces... I will have to contact them next week about this; its probably still cheaper than Newark or trying to get the caps in europe...

You could try these guys

Seem to be more of the corporate supplier, you know, with the $500 minimums... their quote request form does have sample as one choice on it though.

I tried mailing their sales staff for small quantities, but did not get an answer. I will wait until next week (maybe thanksgiving break) and try mailing the individual persons then....

I'd keep checking with them... I emailed Linear Systems regarding purchasing small quantities of CRDs. Never heard back from them... then one day a package arrived... samples :o
