TV is sucking big time!

Featured Replies

Well while browsing I got confirmation of the cancellation of two of the few shows that I liked. I really liked Surface and it is definitely gone. Invasion is also history. Invasion started slower but in the end I was caught up in it.

I also looked at the announced new shows, and not one looks like I?d find it interesting.

Shows that I will watch if I get a chance.

How I Met Your Mother ? The only comedy that I currently watch. Neil Patrick Harris is fantastic as Barney.

Law and order C.I.

Lost

Smallville

On pay TV. It's cheaper to not subscribe and buy the DVD's when they are released.

Weeds

Deadwood

I can?t remember TV ever being this crappy, ever.

it will remain crappy until the networks wise up and start broadcasting hardcore pornography in prime time.

I disagree. If they showed only hard core porn I?d only be able to watch for 3 minutes a day. ;D

Personally I'm waiting for a "Running Man" reality show or a "Thunderdome" show. Two men enter! One man leaves! Also has the bonus of helping to solve the prison overcrowding problem.

Hopefully we can look forward to the day when TV, with the help of virtual reality truly does SUCK.

i will only watch that if they dig up richard dawson to host it, he would be the only one capable of pulling it off, but i fear that his body is sufficiently rotted as to make that impossible. although stranger things have happened....

You?ll only watch virtual reality of sucking if Richard Dawson does it? And I thought that I was twisted.

again, nice one, but i was referring to the "running man" show.

guess i got owned on that one. i should really learn how to quote what im referring to....

How I Met Your Mother is CBS trying to make their own version of Friends. Group of friends in their late 20's living in the city. It's centered around one guy trying to get together with one of the girls and the surrounding stories involve the other friends. With that said, I agree that the Barney character is really funny. But everyone else is really dull. I laughed when I heard Bob Saget's voice doing the narration though.

The only comedy I really watch is NBC's The Office. I never watched the Ricky Gervais/BBC original series, so it's fresh to me.

I really like Criminal Intent, too. I'm a Vincent D'Onofrio fan. He's a strong actor and I think he should be cast in more films.

the only show that i watched until the network was so fucking stupid as to pull it was "sons and daughters"

finally a comedy with some balls, and so far as of late it is on indefinite hiatus, with no explanation from the network.... go figure.
