March 13, 200917 yr Picking up the new Propagandhi album, "Supporting Caste" this afternoon. I've been waiting for this sucker since a track leaked a couple of months ago. I'm still surprised it's already here; their trend has been 5+ years between albums since founding the G7 Welcoming Committee. Anyone else excited about the Winterpeg Punks' return? I'm going to be going crazy this afternoon, looking instead of listening. I had to pick a large image here, for detail. Some great album art once again:
March 13, 200917 yr Author Holy shit, this bitch is HEAVY! Where's the helicoptering, headbanging smiley? [EDIT] Decent review at Sputnik, if you need to know what these guys are all about.
March 13, 200917 yr It looks like one of Pan's little satyr buddies is running over to play his flute. Not that there's anything wrong with that... I am playing this on Rhapsody right now and it isn't like my normal work tunes.
March 13, 200917 yr Author Take a better look - there's some serious homosexuality going on. And Al, no, I wouldn't think this would fall into the typical work-day roster. It's blistering.
March 13, 200917 yr Believe me, I saw it. Pan himself is sporting wood, which is traditional for satyrs, but my favorite is the shirtless chaps-wearing Polk Street cowboy who is being restrained from the fun by a squaw wearing a papoose.

I was wondering if the bear grabbing the two kiddos was a biblical reference...
March 13, 200917 yr Author Heheh. My personal favourite is the nude transexual being doted on by cherubs like Venus.
March 13, 200917 yr 'Viper: did you listen to the hidden track at the end of Last Will & Testament? There is a very goofy intro about Lester Moon, aka Stinky Cheese, and then a very goofy song about Asteroth.
March 13, 200917 yr Author Nah, haven't had a chance to listen to more than the first two tracks. Glad to see they still know how to lighten up though. See if you can find any live tracks by them titled "Chicken Fight". Oh, and for the record, they ALWAYS have a tune relating hockey as an analogy for what's wrong in the world.
March 13, 200917 yr Forget the fight with the Talibans, there's a more important target if we want to restore some world peace: find and destroy that punk drummer school hiden somewhere.... Amicalement
March 13, 200917 yr Author Sure, I have the address if you don't mind dealing with Baron Von Chudmeister over here...
March 13, 200917 yr Honestly he wont be more difficult to deal with than his grandfather... Amicalement
