You can't do bluray playback on mac yet, to my knowledge.
I was on the impression that these Amex guys were adressing this problem...

you just planning to use it as a blu-ray burner?
I dont want to use it more than for it's playback option. My main concern is that I figure it could cost me around (even if I ignore all the trouble for buying hardware from the US) 300$. I would like at least buying a decent device and not a B grade stuff under the Apple sex appeal...

To be honest I had a 4G iMod and now I have a 5.5G iMod and I cant imagine going back one generation. The previous always bring your amp obligation was not a nice feature....

I won an iMod from Vinnie at the NYC Meet. Well, not exactly won. I bought it for $100. I currently have a 5.5G iPod, but the LCD screen is starting to flake (I bought it refurbed from Apple) and Vinnie informed me that I would need to get an ALO LOD, which I think is $85 to use the iMod. I'm not a huge fan of that arrangement. Would it be wiser to find a cheap 4G and get that done?
And how much for a LCD replacement performed by Vinnie?

You know I posted the link after I saw the US on their ''store locator'' but I just tried it a few minutes ago and I found out that the device is not distributed in the US...
:palm: (why the Hell they do that I honestly dont know unless they are already thinking about invading soon the US...)I have one right now ( paid 50$ (can) for it ). Once you get over the colour choices of that thing, it's a bit fragile so it has to be kept away from stairs.
If you are seriously thinking about it I''ll gladly pay the shipping to your location.

On a more serious note, did you try calling Canada Post? Package is probably stuck at the UK customs.

There's a possible scenario explaining the package actual journey to Scotland. It goes like this :
1) After the finest upgrade available under the expert hands of Post Canada newest airplaine mecano ( Mikhail Rotenberg) :
2) The package left Canada Post Headquarter on the october 23:
3) The package went under the usual custom routine in the Scotish Post Headquarter:
4) But at the same time a violent postal strike took control of the postal building:
5) This unfortunate event is going on for so long that these guys had to take severe actions just to survive and they had to feed themselves with just about anything they coud find:
6) They were under so much stress and so little money that they almost regressed to their primitive state:
7) A sad state of affair but one of the postal worker was a long time Head-Case member and did not let this almost prehistoric BBQ go on and in the finest Head-Case tradition went all the way to find a more complex and costly solution:
Where was I? Yes.....back to the package's journey.

It took to Charles Lindbergh 33 hours et 30 minutes to reach Paris from New York (and it was almost a century ago) and I was just wondering how far did my package could have gone since it take off on the 23 october.

Yep!!! I sent an item to Scottland using Canada Post. The last info on their incredible precise tracking service said that the package left the country (Montreal by air) on the 23 october. Seems that the plane has not touch the ground since...
I was wondering since a lot of you guys are so good with numbers and related science stuff....what is, by now, your evaluation of the package location in our solar system....
