    Got a package this afternoon from the south....:)

    Now make place for my usual darkside at the worst: my love for complaining about slow postal service when I shipp something....:mad:

    I did try my best to do my humble part in damage control about the new image of Canadian ecological walking desaster we are so ashamed to be. In that view I tried to select the best green CDs shipping method:

    But now I could eat that damn snail alive for not delivering my package in time.

    OK. I feel better now....:)

    Keith Jarrett is one of the few that I can digest and enjoy. Probably in large part due to my love of the piano.

    As usual not my business but I cant stop myself from thinking that I realy love jazz and strangely enough I usually dont like (with rares exceptions):

    Jazz+voices,

    Jazz + any kind of trumpet, sax, etc

    Jazz+ guitars

    Jazz+ any kind of electro acoustic devices

    Jazz+ big bands (meaning 4 and up musicians)

    But in the end I love piano so much I have specialized my jazz CDs collection around:

    1) Piano solos,

    2) Piano trios (the usuals suspects)

    And just with these two specific preferences I can find around the world more titles than I can afford to buy/listen.

    So Mr. Maher despite being cautious about the title you are obviously a jazz fan....;)

    I'm fucking pissed at UPS right now. After yesterday's bullshit, they give me this crap today:

    4:52 P.M. THE RECEIVER DID NOT HAVE FUNDS AVAILABLE ON THE 1ST DELIVERY ATTEMPT. A 2ND DELIVERY ATTEMPT WILL BE MADE

    Another fine example why I''ll never buy anymore

    anything from a dealer who is offering me the Ultimate Piss off Service as the only shipping option (BTW I dont say in any way that is the case with the JH Audio guys).

    Damn I hate these brown trucks....:mad:

    At Least Guillaume your toys, despite being late, are in secure hands*. Very small consolation I know...

    I'm so glad I caved in and bought my 16 year old's Subaru some snow tires Monday, and the training I gave her during the previous two snowstorms on all season tires is paying off - she's doing well on the snow now.

    Caved in? Riding with 3 seasons tires (there's is not such a thing as a 4 seasons tire BTW ...;)) in snowstorm? 16 years old behind the wheel? :eek::eek::eek:

    Again caved in? Come on.

    Sorry to bother you with my frustation but I just bought 5 CDs on Amazon.ca and I received all five in bad condition. The CD are probably OK but this horrible thing is the guilty part:

    They all went from mega-splashed to simply fractured and are all going as gifts....:mad:

    OK I feel better. I think.

    Pas vraiment amicalement so close to Christmas...:palm:

    Still considering the Mac thing. I'm quite decided to get a 13" MacBook Pro.

    I was in a similar situation and I went the Mac Mini route just a few weeks ago. I'm all set and I'll become a Mac expert as soon the holiday season will give me the needed time to complete my transformation....;)

    All the mods you're contemplating can be done for very little tech fees. So for me I dont bother opening the machine myself. Ex. my HHD went from 5400 Rpm to 7200 for essentially the price of the new HHD. I'm assuming it will be same for your memory. But in this case the price is, for now, astronomical....

    Doug bought some stuff from me and did not complain even if the package (all my mistake what can I say, the girl at the post office had a paid of ''nichons'' so incredible I did not even checked the wrong postal service she sold me...:palm: ) took an eternity and then some to reach him.
