  1. Send them a letter telling them that due to the number of rejection letters you have received, you are unable to accept their rejection at this time. Show up there ready to work tomorrow.

Risky attitude since it was a 50/50 interesting position in an old university mental health research institute. First time visiting and to be honest I was feeling a bit on my Jack Nicholson side...

  2. To the extent that the fit comes from the impressions taken by audiologists not JH employees, the competency of the audiologist would seem to be the critical link in this process.

    Hummm....that's the downside for using Walmart's audiologists....:palm:

I'm no big fan of Ping-Ponging my audio stuff over our border. If the problem is with the impressions quality; this is much easier element to keep under control.

    PS

But I keep wondering what are the opinions of the audiologists about the impression rejects coming from JH.....

  3. Being a possible customer from the other side of the border, I'm wondering if all these missing hits are the result of too much business for a little entreprise with not enough people to process the growing demand or these guys are taking their customers for granted...

  4. Hi Genetic,

There are no shelters for cats in TA that I am aware of (...)

    Bonjour TheSloth,

In what kind of barbaric city do you live....:P

Joking aside, your climate is so much better for the ones loose in the streets. Interesting to see that kind of cultural difference since it seems that in general you adopt informally these free cats by feeding them. I can see why this is not a priority to create animal shelters.

Here in North America we forget too often that our animal shelters are a last 30 days delay before mass euthanasia.

I dont know you at all but despite your lack of experience with cats the fact that you are thinking about getting ''kitty furniture'' for a street cat showed that you have an interesting potential as a pet owner.;)

  5. I think that pet relationships brought on by circumstance can be the best kind. He won't forget that you helped, maybe even saved him.

On that note, I would suggest that if you have problems in the near future please dont let him loose in the street. Go to an animal shelter. I planned this over our latest rescued cat and got cought finally loving, and keeping, the dam beast....:palm:

  6. While I was on the teetering slippery cusp of ordering a pair, I thought that for us US-nom-doms the best way forward would be to send impressions and get JH Audio to send out blanks. Like custom ear plugs. If they need reshaping, keep firing the blanks back and forward. Once they've got it right, you then get the actual ones made to the shape thats right. You also get a pair of custom earplugs for noisy environments into the bargain.

    Indeed!!!!!!

  7. (...) and force a pill down his throat. I've become his worst enemy in his opinion, I hate being the villain, it makes me glad that I don't have any children as I'm actually depressed by my cat hating my guts.

I had some similar experiences with the pill thing. Since my relation with the ''new emperor'' was fragile ( an homless cat ) I have decided, if this wrestling with my cat comes again on my agenda, this will no longer be something I'll do myself. There's many excellent vet. technicians who can and will do this for a small fee.

  8. McCoy Tyner trio.

Mister Tyner was in town for the first time and despite the fact that we can only hope that he will keep doing the touring scene as long he will want to, I think it's was the last time we saw him on stage. He still has much to offer on top of being a jazz legend in action. What a nice evening it was.

  9. Porcupine Tree, was awesome (except for the fat guy rubbing his belly against my butt like he was trying to dry-hump me -- that part sucked), sorry that I was in a weird mood Justin. I kind of hate bars...

''But you're a martyr for even less...'' :P

I used to move around until I found a good place during shows. Now unless there's a seat with my name on it I wont go. I'm beginning to act like Elvis about this.

Glad for the music part. Up here the Montreal show was sold out from the start...:(

  10. pull the drive, throw in a bigger one (...)

Since we are speaking about a MacBook Pro drive upgrade. Do some of you have experienced those SSD in the MBP line? The info I have right now is that (since the $ involve is no longer a major problem around 120GB) Apple is strangely enough avoiding the best of them (the SSD Intel line ).
