  1. RIP Chadwick Boseman...so young, so talented and so sad! https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/chadwick-boseman-black-panther-actor-dies-of-cancer-at-43
  2. Their bass quality is outstanding. Stat-like (I'm a former SR-007Mk1 and SR-009 owner) but with some much need heft. Overall, I would say they have one of the best FR response of any headphone I've tried.
  3. This one really hurts...RIP Neil Peart - greatest drummer I've ever seen: https://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/neil-peart-obit-1.5422806
  4. RIP Luke Perry, way too young! https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/04/us/luke-perry-dies/index.html
  5. RIP, Stan Lee: http://www.tmz.com/2018/11/12/stan-lee-dead-dies-marvel-comics/?fbclid=IwAR0GG0IqajrgLEuoIGPP0HJO_sKrMcjdCuiHONVTlqQYFWFgjmawlde5usk
  6. They certainly would!
  7. I had several days with them in house and all I kept thinking of was that 1980's Wendy's commercial: "where's the bass?" The SR-007/009 blew them away! Not even close. $5k is ridiculous for them IMO.
  8. Yikes!
  9. Did we ever find out what the causes of the early SR-009 driver failures where?
  10. Even the DSP couldn't help them...they just sounded slightly better and a tad more "stat-like" thank the K701s. Lol, what, you don't have $5k lying around in your sofa cushions like most folks?
  11. Really over-rated IMO. Sound very treble heavy and bass lite. Kinda like a stat K701.
  12. That's how I felt about the Sonoma stat headphones. Except they also had too much treble too.
  13. I owned a pair for about 6.5 years, never had an issue with my pair. Funny how some pair are totally unaffected and some had issues. Do we know what the root cause is yet?
  14. Hmmm, low fi headphones and god only knows what upfront rig was used? Hardly a good "test". And as spritzer said, crappy music for the most part.
