I just had a visit from a giant electrical truck. If I'm not mistaken, my next door neighbor and the people across the street both lost power, probably due to something that happened in my yard. In spite of this my electricity stayed on. If my neighbors didn't hate me before, they sure do now.

Supposedly this was taken on the lower east side of Manhattan. Source is George Takei's FB page, of all places.

Shit's getting real outside. A small tree fell over and hit the roof of one of my barns. I went out there an inspected the damage. It's really windy. The lights have flickered quite a few times, but [knock on wood] the power is still on. I just drew off a bathtub's worth of water, and I'm going to fill a couple more jugs.

The photo I posted above is real, but with that in mind don't believe the hype. My FB feed has been blowing up with shooped images of the storm.

The wind has really picked up here. Already one large-ish tree limb has hit the ground. It went crack crack thud, like nature's dubstep. YouTube is streaming the Weather Channel, but I haven't found it to offer much useful information as of yet.

Couldn't source the 1991 remaster, but this is the 1995 gold CD: Much better.

George Horn Digital Remaster of Creedence Clearwater Revival' Chronicle. This is from the 1994 CD, which is the same as the 1991 pressing AFAIK. NOPE. 1991 remaster is by Gary Hobish. I am Jack's Brickwalled Hell.
