Wow. Mirror's Edge is $5 on Steam until tomorrow. I have been waiting forever for that game to go on sale.

Spent the entire day un-fucking my home network. It turns out that my (now 10 year old) wired router was going bad, and finally went tits up today. That meant I had to reset and re-program my Airport Extreme, which had been acting as a WAP-only. Making this whole task more difficult is the fact that my ISP is displaying their usual level competence and I've had to reboot my cable modem 5 times to get a signal strong enough to connect. Due to this unscheduled misadventure, I've had to scuttle plans to get a new mobile phone today, and to visit my favorite grocer. Still on the agenda is looking for a charger for my backup phone, and raining the Scotch cabinet.

Clearly, he's more far in the future than any of us. I have never used DBPowerAmp, but I have to wonder, does it handle RePlayGain as well as Foobar? One of FB2K's real strengths is RPG processing. When I used to use it to convert lossless to lossy, I'd RPG the the audio first. That meant I'd never get any nasty volume surprises in the iPod, and I didn't have to contend with Apple's useless auto volume function.
