I'm hoping that you won't be able to choose between the L-2 and the DSHA-1 for my eventual (inevitable?) HD800 purchase. Mostly cuz I have the one (DSHA-1) and should not be purchasing the other.
Seriously.
And I'm not asking Doug whether he has any proto L-2 left. I'm not doing it. At all.

Mike ship bag o-so-quickly, it almost give the whiplash. Bag arrive so quickly it almost travel through time and arrive before he send. Tumi bag (I did not need bag) wonderfully packed in box.

For that price it is a steal. Iriver got creative and released the new AK120 with the price tag of $1300. Petty soon hi-rez portable DAP will reach $2000 mark.
I know there's a meet in LA coming up in the summer, and Astell & Kern are going to be there...perhaps I can get that price then? And no-one answered my dumbass 22 ohm question. C'mon!

Perhaps it's time to sell those LCD-2s and the Bryston BHA-1 that has been collecting dust since I got the DSHA-1...and use the proceeds for the HD800s. I gotta stop buying new stuff before the old stuff has been sold...
