Nice story I like my resently arrived SR-007 driven by T1S just fine, but I got to tell you they are not fun headphones, they don't impress you with some tap your toes groovyness. I find them to be very accurate and polite with good extension, and a bit dark with my T1S. Still SR-007 sounds like an improvement of LNS sound signature that I really liked and seems to be one of the most accurate headphone around, hope you warm-up to them.

Do you have any internal pics of these Egmont amps?

How is the bass impact and what about the tonal balance, is it more accurate than lets say ESP950 or LSN?

I have a question someone who had HE60, O2, ESP950 and one of the better Lambdas. What did you like about HE60 as compared to other headphones. I keep reading conflicting report of HE60 bass quality and quantity. Some also like it as much or better than O2 and some don't even think it's as good as Lambda Signature or SR-404. I know it's all a matter of taste, but there must be some objective characteristics like that absence or presence of deep bass and etc.

You are talking about Sigma Pro going for $800 right? Normal bias Sigma goes for around $550, no?

Hmm, when I press my Lambdas, all of them, to my head I have this fart sound happening, same as on S-001. So I guess it is possible to have this with Lambdas. This happens when I sweat a bit and the pads are sticking to my head.

The cable on the 800 should be very good, Sony put a lot of testing into it. Was 600 cable completely decomposed with age? Was it do to mistreatment or is it just not durable enough to survive after 20 years?
