Granted, it was only meet listening, but I'd much rather have an HF2 than a PS1000 (assuming I was actually listening to them, not selling them )I got to hear them on CanJam Friday in quiet conditions and agree 100% with your opinion. There will not be a pair of PS1000s heading my way.
I agree with both of these guys. I think i am gonna get an HF2.

Thanks Birgir. I just got an email back from Yama's because I was inquiring about a replacement headband. They said they could get a Lambda Pro one for $95. Does that seem reasonable?
Also, I am very interested in what you find out about the ES-1. My suspicion about the glare in my system is that Mikhail has done something wonky, like providing too much voltage to the output tubes. Maybe you can tell me what I could change (resistors??) to do a simple modification? I know Kevin has said it needs major changes but I would like to change something simple first. I seem to remember Mikhail saying he would change some resistors to solve my issues??

You are correct sir!

Hey Steve, I call first dibs on the SR-Omega when you want to sell them!
-
There was an error on the website that has now been corrected.
Anyone registering an HD 800 now is asked for a 5-figure number and not 6-figures.
All sorted.
Should I send them an updated S/N w/o the extra zero?
-
I got an email from Sennheiser too but it does not say my S/N is wrong, just to check the info. I added an extra zero in front and I'm just gonna leave it like that I think?

Nice find, I have 9 more SACDs now. Thanks.

Yeah, nice to meet you at CanJam shelly!

Wayne, nice to meet you at CanJam! (Andy).
I'll sell you my ShinglePower ES-2 for $40K. I think that is the going Mikhail rate. Then we can talk about the rest.

You have to register at Senn, and put in your S/N, problem is it is 6 digits required on the form and only 5 digits on the phones. I put a leading 0. Someone said there is a 6 digit number on the box. I do not think anyone has confirmed registration though and no individual graphs. Looks like Senn is not ready yet on this front. I registered last Fri. and no response.

I don't believe I have a problem with my pair. When I hold the earcups and move them back and forth, at the end of there is a bit of a clang, only in one direction. I don't know if this is what the others is hearing but it sounds normal to me. Like metal contacting with metal.
This is the same for me on my pair, seems normal?

kelvinz, mine do not creak like that.

Good point!

You are so polite, not sure how you do it.

I wouldn't limit yourself to $60. I just won a $550 USB cable at CanJam. It's big and silvery, though surely not as good as their $1150 model.
tell me that is not true

Have any of you heard of or used this place? I guess it's in Vietnam. The guy has some ridiculous nice tubes but his prices are outrageous.
