Blue Christmas to me!

Me too!
Wish I was!

I agree. And that is the best I've heard Willie sound.
Hoffman should really master a lot more blues. His Lightnin' Hopkins DCC Gold is another good one.
The other blues records I got from the 100 greatest on 45 RPM are also great. Lightnin' Hopkins - Last Night Blues with Sonny Terry, Lightnin' Hopkins - Lightnin', and John Lee Hooker - Burning Hell are all great. I have just ordered John Lee Hooker - That's My Story, Lightnin' Hopkins - Goin' Away, and Shakey Jake - Mouth Harp Blues for the very reason you point out!
-
Well, I had made certain assumptions based upon a thread that is no longer available (disappeared), but it does not seem to be known who is remastering these titles.
-
Subscription to upcoming Impulse sacd set. Hopefully they will be remastered by Hoffman.
Is there any question about the mastering?
-
Totally agree Deepak. His bass playing is great and simply awesome on many of the tracks.

So something got left out of the "what hasnt' changed" list
To clarify it, you can add "Squeezebox 3" to the In list for Mayberry Family Speaker Rig or whatever it's called.

Two sides of the same coin:
Ha ha I fucked your mom
and
Ha ha, you fucked my mom!
Diverging tastes.

Your rich "What are you listening to" history justifies the gear-go-round plenty well, should you need any justification for enjoying what you've earned, Al.
That is kind of you to note, Tyler. I certainly don't amass stuff to say I have it. I use this stuff daily and did the desktop rig upgrade because I listen more in my office than I typically can at home.
Pfft, I love it. Outstanding work my friend, simply outstanding.Thank you sir.
Why did you take the power supply for your squeezebox to mayberry, but leave the squeezebox in SF?"Duh, it's wireless" is an awesome response. However, I have two SB3s and only one Sigma. Wanted the better setup in Mayberry.

Alright, alright. I didn't list everything I did in part because I don't remember it and in part because it is obscene. I also couldn't remember dates and the Beta seemed like last year but Mike is right. Nate is also right, so I guess I have to try to finish up.
It is confusing even for me and I did it all but here is the 2008 purchase/sale/shifting that I did. If an In or Out says "moved" then it was something I shifted from one rig to another. Otherwise In means purchsed in 2008 and Out means sold or up for sale in 2008.

Old Forester Repeal Whiskey (75th anniversary of prohibition)
Comes with a Glencairn glass for $23...
That's funny, just this morning I was putting away booze from a party (what little was left ) and was looking at my Old Taylor that was bottled in 1933, the last year of Prohibition in the US. The tax stamp says it was Made in 1916, which was during World War I, although the US wasn't in it yet. It was clearly bottled during Prohibition because the label identifies the bottler as The American Medicinal Spirits Company, and there are labels all over it indicating it is for medicinal use only. A warning says that prohibited uses could cause severe penalties to the company [and dry up the only source of booze available]. There is even a direction to affix a prescription sticker through the opening on the box. My favorite, though, is the slogan: "Unexcelled for Medicinal Use"!
My grandfather kept this bottle in the original box for 60+ years for some reason. I also have his mini liquor bottle collection and many of those are from Prohibition too. There are some that were Navy spirits in little medicine boxes. Good times.
Here are a few iMac photos:
And here is an Rx label for hooch, awaiting signature by Dr. Feelgood:
Sorry for the interruption to the consumer consumption thread. Carry on.
