I have an old ipad 1 and phones (Google Nexus and Samsung S3) that I never use.   What should I do with them?  Is there a place I can donate them or should I just recycle them?

I'd suggest calling your local unitarian church and see if they could use them or make a suggestion.  Or PFLAG.

Also, I guess I should say that I am not interested in getting any money for these but don't want to do too much work to get rid of them. Certainly Goodwill is easy but there may be something that is more worthwhile. I guess I could also try MD Anderson Cancer Center and a bunch of the other hospitals across the street.
