Staring at stack of SACD's...

Recommended Posts

CD ripping services cost around $1 +/- $0.25 per CD. SlimDevices offered CD ripping to FLAC and a number of formats in the past. The service is no longer available.

ReadytoPlay is the most popular service that I know of:

http://www.readytoplay.com/

Other services I am aware of are:

http://www.riptopia.com/ - Riptopia

and

http://www.ripdigital.com/ - RipDigital

I would recommend doing a Google search for forum threads or articles to see what people think about the different formats.

As to whether they can do SACD 24/96... eeee. Not sure. ;D

Hope that helps!

Regular CD ripping services dont cater for DSD data which is why I was asking. Maybe I wasn't 100% clear so I'll just put it in more detail. I have a stack of SACD-only discs which I can downconvert (in the digital domain) to 16/44.1 CD if I so wished on my current SACD player. But this takes place in real time. It's just a colossal hassle to record it to a PC. So I was wondering if there was a service that did this for me.
