M^3: What are my options?

Featured Replies

i always liked the M^3.

Ditto. I miss mine so much, I think I might save to build another.

The little of brightness I mentioned probably caused by some other factors beside the can.

My 0404 is 1 day old, my M^3 is less than 1 week old, and I guess more burn in may help. The cheap IC between my 0404 and M^3.

Quality of the recording, on certain songs, I didn't find it to sound bright at all.

I just started this hobbie less than a year ago and I'm still trying cans from different brand. Of course, I'll get new cans later

I just bought a used Rockhopper Mini^3 on Head-Fi from a Canadian fellow. It will probably be here by the end of next week. Can't wait to hear how it juices the HD600. :D

Now, the weakest link in the chain is between laptop and amp. I need to find a good USB DAC that will feed a clean signal into the M^3.

don't worry, I saw that thread

it's a beautiful M^3
