I'd appreciate impressions from those of you who have heard a balanced HF-1 compared to a balanced RS-2 or RS-1. Basically, I'm trying to decide if I want to move on from my HF-1.

I'll take SE impressions, too.

SE, HF-1 has more bass, RS-1 has more space.

also, while the RS-1 is slightly more resolving, the HF-1 has less of an upper midrange hump. I imagine this is why grawk & others prefer the HF-1 to the RS-1.
