Has anyone heard or experience reliability issues with any of these amps. I saw a reference on StereoWOW about the 717 having issues. StereoWOW

Had a 717 for a while without any problems. The previous owner, xenithon on HF, had it for about 2 years without any problems either. It was the 230V black model.

I've never heard of any issues with the 717 but there have been some incidences with the 727, one right here on the boards. The old Simply Stax is legendary for inaccurate info so take everything there with a large grain of salt... more like a rock really.

My 717 is now running on its 4.rd year without any problems.
