Phono preamp.

Any thoughts on whether this is good unit?

Anyone have experience with it?

Use it in my system. Haven't done a lick of comparison to anything except my old Marantz 1060B receiver, and it solidly beats that. Seems pretty darn great for the money.

Just wondering is this preamp discountinued? I can't find a link on CIAudio's website. I had to google to find the product link.

It's a very good phono pre. I had one a while back. For the money, I think it's a great choice. As I recall, it's pretty versatile in terms of the range of cartridges that can be used with it. There is one that is on Audiogon with the VAC-1 ps for $400. There is also one up for auction.
