Akathisia Posted August 20, 2008 Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 Could anyone who has succesfully built an issue free AlienDAC post your BOM? I will be placing my parts order through mouser or digikey on Friday and want to make sure I get it all in one fell swoop. I spent some time reading the long thread over at HF and it seems like to many people tried something different and it didn't work out. Or I should just get rid of the boards and buy a DAC since it seems the Alien is a bit overhyped from another thread I was just reading here. For $50 to $75 I don't think it can really be beat (short of the no defunct AV710 sound card) but it's not going to take down a $500 dac either.
