January 9, 200917 yr I've just purchased a Pro-ject Headbox II SE Headphone amp and there appears to be a dearth of information and reviews about it. It is being used with a pair of Grado SR325i headphones, my source is a Sony SCD-XB940QS SACD/CD player via a Sony TAFE940QS amplfier (Tape loop)and a Van Den Hul Thunderline Interconnect. I'm delighted with this particular combination but I'm just wondering what other more informed people rated the setup-particularly the amp?
January 10, 200917 yr I haven't seen one here. One of my local dealers has the Pro-ject Headbox II, but they couldn't find the SE listed the last time they checked. There are some brief reviews of Pro-ject Headboxes on Head-Fi - overall, they didn't seem particularly enthusiastic. I was very interested in the Headbox II SE when my amp failed... it seems to be a good value. Please let us know your listening impressions!
