Dreadhead Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Hi xuys and gals, I'm thinking of getting some XLR splitters for my setup and this device looks good to me and avoids ground hum issues: Amazon.com: ROLLS MS20c MICROPHONE SPLITTER/COMBINER: Musical Instruments Am I breaking any rules if I use this for balanced audio instead of mic-level audio? Also are transformers essentially transparent to audio frequency signals? Thanks in advance

If so I have one of the Art Audio SplitComs laying around that I don't need anymore... Parts Express:ART SplitCOM Mic Splitter/Combiner It has a ground?/lift switch, and I've never had any ground hum issues with it. I'd make you a nice deal.
blessingx Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Old thread bump. Thinking of the same and possibly Y adapter cables available around. Know there's a bunch using similar RCAs, don't know the unique properties of XLR splitting. Anything I should consider/beware?
