I love them for what they are, my commuter iem. =T The other day after a brisk jog, the left side now has intermittent sound. I don't know where the problem originates from, so I was hoping someone here might be able to take a look at them. Well, either that or if someone is selling a pair, I'd love to take them off your hands.

I called Altec Lansing last night and they told me the im716's have been discontinued for 3 years already and that since I was out of warranty for 1 month, they couldn't help me. =[

does the sound cut in and out if you move the cable around?

if it isn't a cable issue, it might be the filter, maybe try removing/changing that.
