  2. Are you in the Los Angeles area? I'm curious which dealer has them on sale and what the price is. :)
  3. dell xps 13's(current gen 9370 or previous gen 9360) are quite nice and a reasonable alternative especially if it's on sale.
  4. Take care and wishing you the best on your nomadic adventures!
  5. Macrium Reflect has worked well for me in the work situations where cloning was needed. I prefer to do a clean/fresh install as well, but dread the time and work needed to get everything reinstalled and configured. I've been putting off upgrading my primary 120GB SSD to a 500GB I've already purchased for months now.
  6. How huge will the class action lawsuit be... lol We'll all probably get $20 or a discount on a new Intel cpu.

The original UERM was a triple armature design as well.
  13. Thanks, sounds good, I'll give that DAC a try. I think the Dynalo sufficiently powers the dynamics I use most often (Senn 600/650/800), so I guess no real need to spend more in the amp department.
  14. Curious, would the Audio-GD NFB-1 AMP be an upgrade coming from a old Dynalo/Gilmore Lite? or same tier? http://www.ebay.com/itm/272135504355 That one? Does this other one look decent? http://www.ebay.com/itm/262292908029 Thanks
  15. For other folks that really dislike the tiled "Start Menu", I would recommend http://www.classicshell.net/ The start menu in Windows 8 is extremely frustrating to use. It's less terrible in Windows 10 but still not to my preference.
  16. Don't feel too bad, the auction ended early because it was sold outside ebay. I was planning on sniping in the ending moments with a ~1100 bid.
  17. The Woo auction includes a SR-009 so it's not completely worthless
  18. wow, thanks for the link. Ordered another pair as a spare, hopefully they're authentic.
  19. The VIVO XE800 is suppose to be oem'ed by Vsonic with GR07 drivers, they seem to be a bit bass light though. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/100-Original-VIVO-XE800-High-definition-moveable-Hifi-Sound-system-in-ear-earphone-with-mic-Voice/318282_32704376144.html Oh, takes a few weeks to get them from that seller unfortunately.
  20. heh, people paying to be beta testers for hifiman again.
  21. That's very unfortunate for cheapskates like me.
  22. Design looks fantastic, sign me up for one as well.
  23. So this board with this power supply, plus chassis/jacks/pot, and a transformer. Sounds great for the $300 price. Is there a specific transformer that you would recommend or prefer for this particular build? Thanks again.
