I only just discovered the ATH-ES10, and it looks to be fairly high grade. Anyone heard both this and the ESW10 and want to compare? Or have other things to say about the ES10 (that's the shiny titanium one)?

I sold my ES10 recently. I decided the ES7 suited my needs just as well without costing nearly as much. Never heard the ESW10 but I did own the ESW9 once, which was ok but it too was beaten by my ES7. The ES10 was ok - wider, more open soundstage than the ES7 and more "balanced"-sounding across the spectrum, but not clear enough. And I didn't really like how it handled FPS gaming, it subtracted some of the mid-bass quantity and made explosions and gunfire sound less powerful & boomy.

I had my ES10 at TamJam where quite a few folks listened to it....
