Green Flash Double Stout...survived Stoutapalooza somehow only to meet its demise tonight...
there's a rumor that Green Flash is bringing back their acclaimed Silva Stout...when I went to check into Double Stout on untappd, it said that I've had Silva Stout...I don't recall when & where so I checked my notes...
all it said was “forgot to take the garbage out”...
Chupacabra from RAM Brewery...porter infused with peppers of some sort...bland, uninteresting...avoid the word infused when choosing what beer to drink...
Sun King Colt 444 again...we're hoping they put out 40oz cans of this:)...
TOØL Black Ball Porter...bought on suggestion by the store owner...normally, I don't do that, but the store was one of the highest rated in the world...stupid Chicago...
anywho, it worked out...good, dry chocolate-y porter...worth it...
Stillwater A Saison Darkly...finally found one w/o having to trade...quite like it...a nice mix of ingredients...only time that I can recall having a Saison out of a 12oz bottle...inexpensive...
Flat12 Bierwerks Walkabout Pale...galaxy hops:)...
Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian...best thing they've done in a while as far as I'm concerned...I don't even like the style, but I like this...glad there's more floating around...
Short's/Three Floyd's/Dogfish Head Cornholio Baltic Porter...brewed with red popcorn & beach plums...don't worry about it...you will never have it...it's out there...but works for me...my favorite style...
Thanks, Joe...
Schlafly Reserve Imperial Stout..2009...not bad...
Dogfish Head Red & White...hadn't had it in years...coriander to the extreme...
Cigar City Marshal Zhukov...had it last Saturday in Chicago...still just as nice:)...
k...I admit I'm kinda glad when others agree w/me on beers...
Cigar City Guava Grove is a better beer than Guava Groove...it's all about balance....
Groove was better this time than last...& that's got to be my familiarity w/it...I'm more confident tasting it...can pick out more...but Grove's simply better...all in attendance agree...
Clown Shoes Anniversary Hoppy Feet 1.5....still love the name (Steve Martin fan) & I'm glad I was able to try this & the regular version...Thanks, Raff..
