i hv esp950 right now and (allow me to reclaim my previous statement on the other thread) with e90 the sound is plain suck compared to my current dynamic phones. i hv kgss otw, crossing my fingers that it will improve......but thats another thread discussion

I have Wooaudio WA6 and Glite......source pico or stello da100, listening to vocal, pop, s***th jazz, slow rock, adult contemporary, new age music. I owned esw9 and love its sound sig, just wish it has a better mid and more clarity/separation Thanks

Guys, looking to sell my MS1 and use the money to buy new phone. Which is better ? AD2k or W5k ? And would the 30-40% diff between AD2k and W5k justifiable ? I know I can always count on the opinion of the people in this forum......Appreciate any advise.....

gave up guys.....fiddling for almost 2 nights on the row still coudlnt figure it out....never mind......just copied all my songs to my desktop notebook and install foobar the run one rig from there and another from the netbook.....the no brainer way...... EDIT : Browsing Stello DA100 (I'm using this and pico for the other rig) thread at HF and now I remember that this DAC dont support ASIO.......so anyway the only solution is my current solution i guess

thanks guys..... manaox - how much better actually ? I mean like clearly audible differences ripping using this and EAC ? I dont know about EAC really, just seems cannot get it work.....If it's much better then maybe I'll just bite my tongue and try to resolve my problems with EAC......

Folks, anyone use the above software for ripping cd to flac ? I've been using it for all these time. Is EAC a better alternative?

in my case is just that the pad gets hot and gotta take it off for like 1 or 2 minutes before putting back on......got to do it for like after every 5-6 songs

thanks manaox.....thank you for enlightening me on the adapter.....one thing with this for me is that because of the faux leather pad, wearing this in prolonged period is like having an ear sauna......but thats a minor tradeoff for me

First night hooking up the ESP950......deadneddz is pretty right on, the sound signature is what I expect for my taste, fast, detailed, good bass......as a matter of fact, I'm pretty happy with the stock amp and couldn't actually imagine how it would sound with KGSS....... But on some songs especially instrumental some vocal, though its great but its not as involving/fun as the dynamic, my HF-2 in this case. Overall, pretty happy with it.....can't wait for christmas where I will take delivery of the KGSS

I did, came up error : Device has 10 output channels expected 2 @torpedo : yeah, i use foobar

installed asio4all, still couldnt route the sound to the desired DAC. It shows 2 DAC on the off-line setting but by even enabling/disabling the DAC, still routed to the same setup. Perhaps someone kind enough to explain in steps on how to do it ? Thanks

Folks, I now have 2 rigs (amp+usb dac) and I have been trying connecting these 2 rigs into my netbook as transport. My problem is that the netbook only recognize 1 usb port so I can't play the songs to two different rigs by hooking it to 2 different usb port. Can someone enlighten me on how to make both of the rigs playable from one netbook ? Thanks in advance.......

Guys, just notice today that my HF-2 emits a buzzing sound when the notes hit a mid note. Like when the piano note hits, the driver buzz. Anyone experience this before ? Is there a way to fix this or should send to Grado for repair ? I hate sending it cause I live in the other part of the world.....but if push comes to shove...... Thanks

ESW9 is a fun can. A can for cross genre.....a can thats forgiving, a can that's comfortable, a can that have can do attitude. I read somewhere that this can is the best portable can that will beat any IEM except custom, having not heard any customs but heard some of the high end universal iem, I tend to agree.... .....just dont expect it for critical listening......

in his webpage, justin said that the bias is adjustable 580V but not sure how many volts up or down.....will check with him

Yeah, although its an elegant solution I doubt Justin would want to fix it for me. Anyway, PM him and request for an adapter. Hope he doesn't mind
