  10. so that would mean if regular BH is awesome then it should be same as KGSS as technically both are quite close? Also noticed on Justin web that he's going to build another final 4 aristeaus. I know its a soul mate for orpheus but how does aristeaus fare with O2 or HE60 ?

  12. 100 Strangers Step out of your comfort zone to a new level of portrait photography: take 100 portraits of people you don't know. The idea The One Hundred Strangers project is a learning group for people who want to improve the social and technical skills needed for taking portraits of strangers and telling their stories. The method is learning by doing. The project is lots of fun and improves photojournalistic skills. During the process you might expand your every day living experience - and who knows, maybe you will even get a couple of new friends during the process. We welcome both beginner and advanced photographers. You may be new to photographing strangers or already have experience of this type of photography. The challenge Take 100 photographs of at least 100 people you don't know. Approach a person or group of people and ask for permission to both take a photo of them and to post it to the flickr 100 Strangers group. Get to know your subjects. Who are they? What is their life like? Try to tell a small story with each photo you take. This may be a story about the person or how you felt approaching that particular individual. You may have, for example, tried a new approach or used a new photographic technique. Try to learn something from every encounter you make. 100 Strangers Pardon me if the above been posted before. Am quite intrigue by the idea, but need to sharpen my photographic skills first
  13. tiger woods - another jerk......well more like asshole
  14. In my line of work sometimes I got to brush shoulder with them. Most of them are quite nice. Some that I could remember (and no, I'm not those guy that stands outside a glitzy club waiting for them) : - Paris Hilton : contrary to popular beliefs, she has a sweet sweet personality. Readily to take all the requests for picture or autograph. A bit too welcoming IMHO. - Jamie Foxx : nice guy too - Leo Caprio : very reserve bloke. Never seen him entertaining requests for pictures or autograph. Though the way he turn the request down was very polite. - Eva Longoria : Usually will entertain peoples request for pic but can be quite rude sometimes. Gorgeous in real life as like in the screen. - Will Smith : the equivalent of Paris in male form. Too bad the security details were too strict. Cant blame them too. Some of you guys may think "who gives a shit about them??" but hey for the sake of discussion why not..... Post your real life encounters and your impression about them......
  15. thanks.....solely for the auto function or scene selection function, which one yields better quality? With my lx3, I never went to fiddle with the manual thing. Its either fully auto or scene selection fr me.
  16. thanks Craig but I'm afraid the earlier BOM is just partial and incomplete making a blind guy like me - in DIY even more confused. anyway, count me in for the board. worry about the rest later. Worst comes to worst I just frame it and hung it to my wall if I cannot complete it
  17. CMIIW, i should follow kevin and the rest of the pack to buy the board first then sit pretty wait for the BOM to come out ?
  18. eerrrrr, cuse me......what bout the rest of the components? arent we suppose to hv something like BOM? sorry as I'm not a diy-er but dying to upgrade from my kgss

  20. thanks falkon.......planning to get it from Best Price Electronics since they have the best price. anyone ever dealt with this vendor ?
  21. nex3 and epl-1......which is a better bet? i'm pretty much a point and shoot person....my better camera is a lumix lx3 and my wife and me love it, she wants the lx3 solely for her to take pics of our growing kids
  22. wonder what happened to all the series leading to Q from K70x
  23. imho, for custom whats vital is when impression is being made. a good or experienced audiologist can mean a sending back and forth for refit or a one time fit. my jh fits me perfectly on a first attempt. another thing is that impression are very fragile so it needs to be fully protected and packed during the shipping. a simple deformation of the impression during shipping can screw your final custom big time. i packed and send my impression wrap with cellophane plastic repeatedly and on few layers of bubble wrap and finally use solid plastic box for additional protection. i also read somewhere that ear impression can self deformed in 2 weeks time, not sure whether its true but i personally wouldnt take the risk.
