  1. Yeah, we'll keep posting. The birthday continues until everything works out. Hang in there Al!
  2. We will be making one of these for the after-party on Dark Lord Day.
  3. Similar concept: http://m.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/gallery/2010/apr/07/how-to-make-shooters-sandwich?cat=lifeandstyle&type=gallery
  4. Sending positive karma for the MOTDOTU.
  5. Someone as good as Al deserves 2x the birthday wishes. Happy Birthday Al!!
  6. Happy Birthday guys!
  7. Ditto. We had five computers going and only I got tickets.
  8. I don't think it matters to me as I will not be using it as a preamp.
  9. Founders Imperial Stout.
  10. Mike, yeah she mentioned gigs with Kaki King. Dan, I'm pumped to see her and the venue she's playing may be because I suggested it. She sent out an email months back asking for potential places to play. I suggested SPACE in Evanston and that is where she is playing.
  11. Tickets to see Zoe Keating in May.
  12. Thanks. Will pull the trigger on the XDA-1 now.
  13. I'm holding out for the EdipisReks Signature Model.
  14. Redbreast 12 in honor of the day, and also in honor of my dearly departed brother Chuck, who would have been 63 today.
  15. Nice job Jacob. Fixing Outlook was ace - it's one of those mystery areas for mere mortals and when you fixed it you became an IT god in their eyes. It will leave an impression.
  16. I know, I know. But the 8 year old in me delights in saying cat pooh so damn your intelligence, I'm going for the pure snicker factor.
  17. Strangely enough, Al inspired me too and two bottles of "Cat pooh beer" should be delivered today. Couldn't find any locally. Thanks Al!
  18. A wee dram of the Eagle Rare. Had to sample it before serving to guests on Saturday... And may I just say... Wow, this is soooooo nice.
  19. Bought these ahead of a little weekend get together.
  20. Substituted orange bitters for blood orange bitters, but otherwise the same. Thanks for the recommendation.
  21. I may have to do that next. For now:
  22. I've served on two juries, one civil, one criminal. The criminal trial was more interesting, it was a bank employee accused of stealing money from the bank. We were all pretty sure he was guilty, but the prosecutor was so bad he never nailed it down conclusively and we unanimously acquitted him. In that case it looks like crime did pay.
  23. Good luck Jacob. Knock 'em dead! (not literally for Christ's sake)
