- Just one good game.
I lived through the "golden era" of PC gaming, and have a trunk full of CDROMs to prove it. Sadly, I don't have copies of the M&M IV or V, but I see they are on Abandonia. Holy CRAP. The Steam daily sale just came live, and both Bioshocks are $5 each(!) If you lack them, pick them up NAO (whether or not your name is Tyll).- slower forum

I don't remember M&M III that well, but it's successor was the stuff of legend. IV: Clouds of Xeen and V: Darkside of Xeen combined into one game "World of Xeen." The CDRom edition really pushed the envelope of voice acting in games. Virtually all the major characters talked via audio tracks on the CD. It was pretty amazing stuff for the time. At the time I had a friend who had it running on a blazing fast 486, and I was jellin'. If we were in 1993, I'd seriously suggest that Tyll use it to test out gaming headphones. Here in 2011, I think the Bioshock suggestion is probably the best suggestion made here. Right now it's on sale on Steam for $13.39.Important Information
