  1. GPH, I'm amazed you do play as many Steam games as you do with Canadian internet. Spritzer's numbers make me want to
  2. This has got to have been taken on the set of Heaven
  3. Some guy on Reddit is in a Korean hotel and is getting speeds like this: Pretty astounding to most Americans (and sufficient to make Canadian users cry in their Molson). Of course, a few institutional users came out of the woodwork and began posting speeds with several hundred megabits in each direction. Being a cable subscriber, I am supposedly getting 12Mbit down and 1Mbit up. Of course, the reality is quite a bit different: So, Head-Case what kinda speeds do YOU get? You can click on the image above to test your own connection.
  4. Steve Porter is at is again.
  5. Can I get away with this NSFW pic? 'cause it's pretty awesome.
  6. Hello YouTubes! Remember Ronald Jenkees? He hasn't posted a YT video in almost 3 years. I think he got a bit spooked by all the attention he garnered. I visited his website for the first time in ages, and apparently he resurfaced recently. No new videos, but he did upload two tracks to SoundCloud late last month. I can't embed them, so here are the links: Error Me Out 7 Times WAT. Probably a reap oast, but a hilarious one.
  7. WAT. Bill Hicks died 17 years ago today.
  8. I'm listening to 24/96 needledrops of the earliest 12" singles by the Belgian dance act The Mackenzie. They turned to complete SHIT after 1995 and began producing vocal club trance (with one notable exception) that makes me want to drown kittens. Prior to that, they made some absolutely amazing, timeless dance music. While ca. 1989 rave music was hardly a high fidelity enterprise, these hibit vinyl rips sound amazingly good out of my Quad/Quad combo. The 12"s I'm listening to are: Party People (1989) The first track by The Mackenzie I ever heard and still my favorite. This track has as much significance as Joey Beltram's "Energy Flash" (which came out a year later) even if it's not as well known. Freak out (1990) It has an odd spoken dialog that runs through the whole track. At first it annoyed me, but now I love it. There's a point where the speaker says "Give me the Sequential!" (Circuits analogue synth) and this massive resonant arpeggiation comes in that's just amazing. Chicago Trip (1990) Probably their most famous (oldskool) track, a tribute to the city that gave birth to house music. The notable exception I mentioned above is Ghost, which sadly I am lacking at the moment.
