So I just got a nano 4G for my mom and of course it doesn't work with foo_dop for foobar. It's okay though since I need to use iTunes anyway to help her when she gets it.
Question is, if I use the iPod with iTunes on my computer, will it be locked to this system or is there no problem when she gets it? And say I just want to use it kind of like a media storage device instead of something synched to a library on a computer; the things I put on it won't get eaten up when she receives it?

MoonShine bought some headphones from me and everything went great and I have no reason to believe any future transactions with this user will be anything but.

Yeah, I haven't actually really compared the two... but I could!

I liked the RP18 out of the M^3 for what it was, even in its modding infancy. Let's just say that if the M^3 works as much magic on orthos as dynamics, you're in for a treat.

We'd be ESW10+MS-2i buddies

And that's not even a woman

Highly doubtful the cable will do anything worth losing the portability (and value) of stock.

That monitor's a nice bonus; where can I get her?

Just a quick tip, "obi" is just a word in Japanese so you don't need to capitalize it.

Since grawk so speedily nabbed the other 3 in my list...

what do you mean by dedicated line?
Step 1: Go to your nearest clean power plant
Step 2: Hook up some pure OFC copper wire to their power
Step 3: Connect it to your home audio room
And there is your dedicated line.

I've actually seen that a few times. But then again, the Pico is tinier IIRC.

The instructions state that you void your warranty if you put a lime on your DAC.
I am not pleased.

Neko is probably referring to the Japanese word for cat.
I've been wondering about that DAC since the ad shows up pretty often on HF. But those internals look pretty barren. :/
EDIT: Looks like it can be connected SE with an XLR->RCA adapter (They sell them on their site too)

By shitting on Voltron's TTVJ FET-A review over there, you've started off on the wrong foot already.

Simple is best.

There used to be a small company that advertised in the back of Rolling Stone magazine before the Interwebs. They used to sell 10 T-Shirts for 10 bucks or something like that. You would just order your size and you would get 10 different and random brand new remnants, all well made, just overstock for Ralph's Air Conditioning, etc. Does something like that still exist?
I would totally order those shirts if I knew where to get them.

I've seen too many consecutive weeks of terrible shirts, so I've quit looking at shirt.woot.

Yeah, I cheaped out on the two headphone model, and I'm probably not going to use it for two headphones anyway. Didn't like the... strange... look of the double. Prefer the lamp-like single

Just arrived. Quite nice, HEAVY base, solid construction, and just barely fits two headphones. A Senn and a Grado would fit nicely, but I have a fat AKG and I have to turn the Grado cups sideways.

It is, you can tell by the impossible movement of the flying ball. I had the same reaction you did before checking again

Boris - Pink
I remember I couldn't get into this record back in 2005, no matter how hard I tried. But suddenly I just get it. Wow, I've been missing out. Maybe I should go back and re-listen to some Sunn O))) now.
PINK is good (especially that last track), but I think their strengths are stuff like flood, Feedbacker. And you probably won't find Sunn anything like boris if you've only heard PINK
