I assume all you SawStop guys are using the industrial mobile base?  That is the only part I am waiting on and cannot find them anywhere local. Trying to decide if I just go with the standard PCS mobility cart and live with the lack of mobility.

Don’t. Get the industrial, it makes it so easy to move.

Looks decent.  I think I like the brakes on the Festool better than that system but the gauge for bag fill and stuff would be nice.

Going from the Sawstop Jobsite Pro which just required I pull it out of the box and put the blade on to the new PCS with 20 boxes and having to build the whole thing is quite the adventure.

I was going to recommend you just skip the middle step of owning a SawStop and skip directly to a Felder sliding saw.  I’m sure we can come up with an overly complicated WiFi operated ceiling lift system.

Building some cabinet doors. Trying to decide between 1/4 birch plywood and mdf for the panels. Rail and stiles are Poplar. All doors are going to be painted.

    Any sage advice?

Plywood. More durable, especially at 1/4”. Usually HDF is used for one piece machined doors. I plan on trying some of those soon for a vanity.

Nate - Amazing work. I’m slowly cutting my teeth on Fusion but so far really like it.

    Nice choice, naamanf!

I'm not keen on the Ford interiors either.

Fortunately they didn't go all southwest/cowboy on the TRX's like RAM has on some trucks.  Who the hell needs a saddle bag thingy in a truck...LOL.

    Yes, good thing.

The new F-150 interior looks so much better and supposedly has a better fit and finish. It was terrible in the Raptor.

I guess we will see when the Raptor R comes out which one I’ll go with. Though I’m thinking I’ll probably skip year one and let every else pay the premium if I go that direction.

Maybe just get a 911 with a trailer hitch 😂

That is a serious score IMHO.  You're going to be happy.  What color did you order?

I bought my Trackhawk $5k off which was pretty good considering it was almost exactly what I wanted (the panoramic sunroof is a waste but otherwise ticked every box including color and interior) and had only been on the lot a few weeks.  There's was the year earlier model on a lot I was offered $10k off of but I paid the $5k for the year newer one...and looking back glad I did.

In this environment and with supply chain being what it is, $10K off for an ordered vehicle is a rocking good deal.  Again, might be because of a lack of orders after satiating demand for a very specific type of vehicle...let's face it, not everyone wants that much truck.

I think they're kick ass and I am shocked by how nice the interiors are.

Granite two tone. Only mono colored offered is black, which is a great color for a garage queen, but terrible for a daily driver.

Happy to have a nice interior again, going from BMW to Ford was rough. I liked the Raptor, but have hated the interior every day I’ve owned it.

    That's great.

What it might be, and I saw this with the Jeep Trackhawk's after their first year, is the folks that want and are willing to pay for a supercharged / $100K vehicle...that demand gets satisfied largely in the first year.  Then the second year of production takes a pretty good dip.

I would think the truck market is a good bit deeper than for a supercharged Jeep Grand Cherokee, but what do I know...

    HS

Probably, just crazy since people are still paying a premium for any truck on the lot right now.

Officially re-ordered with a $10k savings. Sure glad I decided to check out the TRX group.

Absolutely.  I'll turn you on to my tuner.

A simple pulley swap and more mojo...easy peasy.  I'll give you my number and share whatever I can.  I run E85 full time.  The tuner also provided a "flex" tune so if you want to swap between the two you can.  The only thing about E85 is that you consume 30% more fuel but it's cheaper so the rub is it readily available in your area.

My TrackHawk has the same motor your TRX would have.  I pulled the blower in the driveway with some friends' assistance (the blower is a pig as it has built in cooling and well...MOPAR), swapped to a smaller pulley for added boost (you need an extractor I would gladly loan you), shorter belt, bigger injectors, a cooler thermostat and a tune/calibration that you need to "crack" your PCM (control module) to use.  I use HP Tuners for software and run VMWare on my Mac Pro so I can run Win to use the tuning software.

You'll void the warranty but warranty shwaranty....  I've run a 10.3 sec quarter mile at ~132mph and I pushed her to 187mph at the standing mile (Texas Mile) a couple of weekends ago....weighing 5617lbs with my arse in her.  Coefficient of drag 1.0...hahaha.  Stock catalytic converters and exhaust.  I could do a lower pulley / damper swap and pin the crank and make more but I'd have to pull the cat's which I don't feel like doing as it's my daily.

A buddy of mine took delivery of this gem earlier this week.  Carrera S stick car.  I'm so jelly...

Good info, we will have to link up whenever it comes in. No E85 here only 93. I'll probably stick with things that don't break the warranty or can easily be reversed if I do have to take it in. I would never hear the end of it if I toasted a motor that couldn't be covered.

I do really want a 911 Turbo S, maybe some day when my earthworm farm takes off.

I can honestly say the TRX I got to drive was stupid fun, handled WAY better than it should of given the size (the crazy number of suspension/drive modes is helpful), and the interior shocked me w/ how nice it was.  Also, you will NOT have to pay a premium over sticker if you find a dealer worth their salt near you.  If not let me know and i'll find one for you to speak with.

The one thing I would offer is it's BIG...fricken big.  I believe a foot longer than my prior RAM 1500 crew cab so that's saying something.  Wide as hell too...I'm jealous!

    TRX FTW IMHO, naamanf!

    HS

    MSRP from a local dealer.

It’s .3” longer than the Raptor and 1.2” wider, so it should feel exactly the same.

Since 702 HP isn’t enough, any recommendations on tuners for it?

^^^ Late to the party but I think you'll like the TRX a lot.  By all accounts its way more stupid than anyone needs but pegs the fun meter at 10, as long as you don't mind something like 10mpg.

Me - CEL came on in the BMW.  Code reader says it's related to the engine running too lean.  The interwebs say it's like a dirty or failed MAF sensor or a vacuum leak so I'll start tomorrow by cleaning the MAF and resetting the code and going from there.

I already get a whopping 13 mpg on the Raptor so it’s not a terrible difference. This or the Raptor R will probably be my last gas vehicle so might as well end it with something fun.
