I think that Fang said something ~$2k w/ the amp. I gave them a brief listen and thought they sounded pretty good. Hard to tell with that much noise but certainly worthy of another listen.How much do the clones cost with an amp? Not that I need another stat or anything...

I had a '97 Jetta GLX/VR6, man that car had some balls. Too bad it was absolutely worthless in anything more than a dusting of snow.nice! i have a 2000 VR6, though i'm coming up on 100k miles. love it, though.

While I appreciate your perspective I think that you and I probably listen to music in very different ways. I highly doubt that if someone came and changed the cables on my rig from silver in teflon to silver in cotton I'd notice a difference.Could very well be. Teflon and metal-film resistors are best marketing success stories in hi-fi that are not caused by idiot reviewers. You should really try cables without any teflon and some good wire.
