Is there a possibility that the analog stage is not the same with these dacs? Or do they sound identical? By the way, If I get a CEC now, will it sound like the aqvox mk1 or mk2

aaahh so it has a toslink out on the unit itself. good stuff! I can then expand my choices of dacs instead of being limited to usb dacs only

How does this exactly work now? I have a laptop with wifi and a gilmore lite so all I do is get an airport express and connect pc to airport wirelessly then airport has analog outs to go in the glite??? How do I use my interconnects with airport express? I don't exactly understand this. Also, if I do this, can I also connect a usb dac to the airport express or is it a good enough dac in itself to connect directly to my rig

Hey Lil night, you're here. I'm stalking all these dacmagic threads now too looking for some impressions. I'm a little afraid at some of the impressions ive read saying the highs are a little brittle and the overall sound being a little sterile. I already have a semi analytical amp (the gilmore lite with dps) so something warm and cozy sounding might be more in my alley.
