So, King Crimson is in motion. This is a very different reformation to what has gone before: seven players, four English and three American, with three drummers.

The Seven-Headed Beast of Crim is in Go! mode.

 

The 8th incarnation of King Crimson will be Gavin Harrison, Bill Rieflin, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Mel Collins, Jakko Jakszyk and Robert Fripp. 

 

Fripp says they should reappear about 1 year from now. I'll be waiting.

Three drummers, all of whom play full kit, not percussion?  Intriguing, but odd.

Yep. They've done two full kit drummers before (Bruford and Mastelotto) so now three. I'll give up on them when a separate hall is needed for the drummers.

With three drummers odds are good at least one of them will be trapped in the bus trying to find the exit at all times.
