i did pay a whole lot to get my hf1's hooked up with black ebony, but i can't see spending 1000+ bux on these custom headphones he makes. As cool as the wood looks, i doubt it makes a huge difference. I'm saying this after having my hf1's for almost 3 years. People that buy and sell these left and right just to get different types of wood are psycho.
