not sure if this warrants a completely new thread, but i'm hearing this "bing" noise whenever i touch my volume knob. is this normal or should i get this looked at? i did just switch in a new gain tube, so i'm not sure if it's that.

Or it's a microphonic tube -- try swapping the left and right channel tubes.

left and right channel tubes being the back tubes on the lunchbox correct?

well i just popped the old tube back in and problem solved, no noise.
