April 26, 200818 yr There's also 2M resistance before the 4.7M so you have to measure before this too The stuff i have indicates that this is not true for that unit. Besides which 2 meg into a 10 meg dvm would still be 395 volts and that is still low.

April 28, 200818 yr After the rewiring? I don't think that STAX USA will agree Ahh... that puts a small snag on the whole thing. You could just replace the diodes and check the input voltage into the bias circuit to see if it is up to spec.
