yeah, I shouldn't have lambasted it so badly, it was kind of rude of me to do so. It is a good show and I like it a lot. I just find certain elements to be overwhelmingly ridiculous. For example vampirism symbolizing homosexuality is hilarious and absurd.

I've been watching this show from the beginning, but recently gave it up because, quite frankly, Maryanne freaks me out.

When Sookie slapped her, instead of that other thing that was supposed to happen, Maryanne's response was probably my favorite thing from the entire series so far. Excellent actress, fairly kickass character.

You made me go look her up and indeed she's been around for a while. Totally wouldn't have made the Kalifornia connection if not for IMDB.
