December 1, 200817 yr comment_180323 HD radio is crap, it's the worst sounding form of radio so far, so I can't imagine there's anything that tuner can do to help it. HD in this case stands for "high density" not "high definition" Report
December 1, 200817 yr Author comment_180334 Grawk, I see the bitrates listed in the first review (thought not sure the technology). Could it be even worse than sat radio? Still I wonder how the radio performs for analog FM. I just unsubscribed from Sirius (held on to it this long mostly for Stern) and although internet radio & podcasts (with their own bitrate issues) will likely fill most of the void, I thought of going back to FM if indeed a good tuner could get more stations.
