April 16, 200917 yr Author comment_225012 Hey, can you look and see if they say how they were mastered? If they were mastered in PCM (96/24, presumably), I think I'd be better off going with HDTracks. I have a couple of the SACD's, but never got around to getting all of the ones I wanted. Report
April 17, 200917 yr comment_225022 Cool! I had never heard about this site. The pricing for the albums is ok but I'm curious about the mastering as well. For $15 + I would much rather buy the SACD than get a download but it still nice to have options. BTW: This is a cool little demo album. http://www.hdtracks.com/index.php?file=catalogdetail&valbum_code=HD090368032362 and if you like Django Reinhardt - this is a must: http://www.hdtracks.com/index.php?file=catalogdetail&valbum_code=HD030911110925 Report
April 17, 200917 yr comment_225031 thanksHD09 is a free code for 20% off. It expires on 4/18/09, I got it by downloading their free ultimate download experience sampler on the home page. Report
April 20, 200917 yr comment_226015 I still have yet to come across the Kinks' SACD releases through my usual shopping means, so this is a great alternative in case I get tired of looking. Especially considering I've already got the redbook releases already. Thanks! Report
