My own listening experiences say that the Headphile mods do make the tonality more even than the stock DT770, but it didn't change the basic sound signature. In other words, still the same headphone, but with less glaring unevenness.
December 17, 200619 yr I have a feeling a recabling will help in that area. Not completely fix it to your liking, but at least to the extent that humanflyz describes.
December 23, 200619 yr DarthBeyer -> A.t. W5000 -> A.T. W3000 ...........IMO, don't bother with anything else for closed w/good bass.
