If you have time it would be great to do a quick test.

I think DNA's sonet is like this to. Do you think the sound is different SE vs balanced ?
-
I think it is more like: Stax Up !
-
I think it is around 8 ohm. Thanks for the advice Beefy, I'll wait until the ExStata.

Hello everyone, I bough a SR-34 stax headset and energizer. Is it possible to use a dynalo without heatsink on output transistors and 18 W transfo to drive the energizer or is it a really bad idea ? Sheer audio said the HA-006 + can be used as power amp... Thanks for any answer.

I never ask before using pictures and I thought it was not big deal. If there is a problem with it, I apologize but I can't remove it. To Soihoang, search for Dynalo or A Pure Class A Dynamic Headphone Amplifier, you will find.

I think it is pretty cool though I'm dissapointed it dosen't electrocute you as a bonus feature...

Rudistor makes terrible headphone amp, their headphone meight be OK. I know everyone always juge before their it...
-
But they have nice headphones.

Grado makes terrible headphone amp...

Singlepower ? I thought my soldering skill were quite bad too, this is worst, yahoo !

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I was thinking of building a sigma22 first and then going balanced. But it causes a lot of problem because I don't have balanced source.

Dynarocklobster... Will it be DC coupled from input to output ?

Thanks for the link tkam.

Here it links to nothing. Just forget it, mods delete this if you want.

I am probably starting to much thread here but anyway, here is another one. I heard about the Bamaslama amp, and now I want to build one. schematic: PSU amp Is the relay needed because of the power supply design ? Does it make a "plop" when you power the amp ? Can I use cheap dual op-amp or something special is needed there ? Then what kind of relay do I need ? Are all resistors 1/4W ? Do i need matched pair for the second stage tube ? What will be the DC offset like ? What is the filament wiring like ? What will be the approximate price to build it ? I will use cheap coupling caps in the first time. Lots of question as always,

Do you mean when amb designed his amp, he was thinking ground channel, that's why they are better with a ground channel (b
-
Thanks for the answers everyone ! I should have asked a ground channel for the dynalo . I heard Morsel (MMM and PPa team I think) saying that someone shouldn't go balanced with is MMM since it has already a ground channel. Amb's creations are made to run three channel (MMM, Mini^3, B

Hello everyone, I'm sorry to start another thread here but maybe someone will know what I'm looking for. As you might remember, I built a Dynalo, it has been cased since. So it sounds quite good, but the real question is: could it sound better ? Here comes the idea to build a three way Dynalo with active ground, just like B
-
You are right, my bad.
-
I thought it should give no feedback at 0Hz, the cap is a shortcut so there is no divider bridge anymore.

Dynamid is a balanced Dynalo (it is also GS-X). The dynamight is a balanced dynahi (it is not available commercialy). Since the Dynalo and dynahi share the same overall design, the dynahi was made after the dynalo and is supposed to be better. i'm not sure it is a good thread to ask, we are talking about SS design here.

I know generally push-pull are classe B (or AB) but kevin's Gilmore Dynalo has the same output stage and it is class A (pure class A ).
