I could pass on the mathematica but not being able to tex on it is a bit of hold-off for me. Apparently there is a team working on porting a compiler across to the iphone so there may be some good news in the future considering they are the same os and all.

I will definitely not be dropping out! I already reorganized my desk just to have somewhere to store the damn boards =)

Do you mean the knob and shaft will be turned out of the same long piece of stock? Would it be easier to make KaNOBB how you want with a tapped blind hole in the back and then just LockTight in a threaded metal shaft?

Yeah blind holes would look significantly better (not to sound shallow at all). Four holes 1mm or slightly less from the front surface would probably give enough length. The new one looks very nice =)

That looks very, very nice =D How are you planing on mounting them to the front panels? Blind holes on the mounting side?

Haha don't tell me that My general area is Category Theory and most of the stuff I have looked at is related to the application of enriched and higher dimensional categories to cohomology. Although said paper above is probably a bit of a stretch for that hehe. Yourself?
