When Team Overkill builds a Blue Hawaii...
Dear god... That is more than 2k in material here and more than double that in machining. Actually I think even that is grossly underestimated.

What did you do today?
Took a 2.5hr round trip to the airport to pick up an express posted package... Both ups and partsconnexion managed to fuck up again

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Fucking hell that's ridiculous Last time I had something sent using their 2-day express (or something like that) the morons at the brokerage Australia side read my label and instead of affixing the updated internal one they glued on something that sent to the other side of the city...

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Yes the only place more expensive than Australia for everything seems to be Iceland. Artificially offset scales would not surprise me given how dodgy fedex is over here.

Thanks Struts! I had already flicked Inu a pm and he is sorting me on them. Dear god that's a lot of caps for one man... I'd need to be in on all 63 runs of the t2 to make use of them hehe O.o

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
This is a bit of a long shot but does anyone have 4 extra of the 5pF/1kV C0G ceramic caps that they could send down to AU?

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Just like all UPS fuck ups, you'll write them off only to have it all turn up 2 months later with out so much as a sorry note. Rage ensues

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
Cool I'll make sure to grab some nylon standoffs and screws, thanks =)

The ultimate DIY? A Stax SRM-T2!
If they are the original board files then they are likely the same ones I just bought off Kevin. I'll have to remember to get some nylon standoffs.

The Headcase Stax thread
Bdent are great. Tony goes out of his way to help you get stuff. Has a bunch of suppliers in Japan he use to source stuff upon request which is cool.

The DIY Electrostatic amp thread
PRO TIP: don't do what I did once and forget that you disconnected the test load so that it takes 20min+ to bleed the psu caps back to something "safe"
